Windows Live Writer plugins
Posted on: December 2, 2006
I'm still using WLW, and Andy Piper graciously pointed me to a couple useful sites for plugins:
- Microsoft's own Live Gallery
- Windows Live Writer Plugins (can't think of a more apt name)
I find myself severely believing how good it is to have dual monitors: I can easily drop content like links or pictures from my web browser on one, into WLW on the other. A lot better than futzing with the taskbar.
I'm going to browse through and give some a spin: in particular, I'm looking for enhancements for WordPress-specific features, since it's my preferred blogging platform. But WLW is compatible with a variety of blogging services.

(I enjoy being able to edit and Publish so quickly again — helps with rapid blog updates, hint-hint!)

I don't get it, what does the software actually do?

The name isn't quite clear — perhaps it should be Windows Blog Writer.
Similar to a word processor, it lets me compose entries to post here!
